Eğitimde Değişen Paradigma ve Yeni Öğretmen Rolleri

Abstract

Eğitim alanında yaşanan paradigma değişimleri, öğretmenlerin rol ve sorumluluklarını yeniden tanımlamayı gerekli kılmıştır. Bu bölümde, eğitim paradigmalarının tarihsel gelişimi ile bu değişimlerin öğretmenlik mesleği, öğretmenlerin değişen rolleri ve öğretmen yetiştirme politikaları üzerindeki etkileri incelenmiştir. Öncelikle davranışçı, bilişsel, yapılandırmacı ve bağlantıcılık gibi temel eğitim paradigmalarının öğretme ve öğrenme süreçlerine ilişkin yaklaşımları ele alınmıştır. Ardından bu dönüşümlerin öğretmenin bilgi aktarıcı rolünden öğrenmeyi kolaylaştırıcı, rehber, teknoloji uygulayıcısı, kültürel arabulucu ve yaşam boyu öğrenen rollerine geçişini nasıl şekillendirdiği tartışılmıştır. Bölümün son kısmında eğitimdeki paradigma değişimlerinin öğretmen yetiştirme politikalarına yansımaları değerlendirilmiş; öğretmen eğitiminin alan bilgisi odaklı yaklaşımlardan pedagojik, teknolojik ve sosyo-kültürel yeterlikleri bütüncül biçimde geliştirmeyi hedefleyen modellere doğru evrildiği ortaya konulmuştur. Sonuç olarak, öğretmen yetiştirme politikalarının eğitimde meydana gelen kuramsal, teknolojik ve toplumsal dönüşümlerden doğrudan etkilendiği ve gelecekte de bu değişimlere uyum sağlayabilecek esnek yapılar geliştirmesinin gerekli olduğu vurgulanmıştır.
